Jan 25 2026 Reflecting on Module #2, which introduced me to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, It combined hands-on practice with theoretical learning, which was both enlightening and, at times, a bit overwhelming. Here’s how it went for me:

    Challenges and Learning:

HTML and CSS Integration: Building my first website homepage was a rollercoaster of excitement and challenges. I ensured that the HTML structure was not only functional but also conceptually sound. The CSS part was a bit of a puzzle, especially when it came to making the layout visually appealing. Understanding the box model and how different CSS properties interact was crucial, and I found myself going back to the basics more than once.

FTP Uploading: When it came to uploading my files, I initially struggled to connect to the server. I had to double-check my credentials and ensure that my FTP client was set up correctly. I found using Infinity FTP to be much more straightforward than FileZilla, which I had tried earlier. This experience highlighted the importance of file management and server interactions in web development.

The monitor sits atop a minimalist polished wood desk, surrounded by scattered sticky notes filled with sketched-out wireframes and website ideas. Daylight from a large window softly illuminates the workspace, highlighting the subtle grain of the desktop and creating gentle reflections on the monitor. The mood is focused and contemplative, with a clean, modern aesthetic. Shot from a slightly elevated angle, the composition places the monitor at the center, using shallow depth of field to draw attention to the code, supporting the blog's theme of overcoming web design challenges.
